Turbochargers
are synonymous with diesel engines. And for good reason. Diesel engines
have been at the cutting edge of technology for many years. Diesel engine
builders learned long ago by use of turbochargers engine performance
improved. Performance from the turbocharger is free power because the
engine must exhaust cylinder pressures, so why not take advantage of
this cycle while improving induction.
TnT Performance and Repair offers new and rebuilt turbochargers for almost every make
of engine. We modify the turbine housing on some applications, such
as Ford Powerstroke and Dodge Cummins models, for increased vehicle
performance. This causes the turbocharger to spool up quicker and results
in improved acceleration, less turbo drive pressure and lower exhaust
temperatures. In performance engine applications, it is critical that
the turbo reach its peak boost pressure quickly and not create much
exhaust backpressure. Mission accomplished through reduction of turbo
lag! We also change the turbo compressor wheel in certain applications
for faster boost pressure.
We offer
a special performance turbocharger wastegate actuator utilizing a larger
airhead and diaphragm than available in stock configurations. This special
setup allows the turbo to build increased boost which results in additional
engine performance.
We know fuel injection.
In addition to having the ability to rebuild nearly any injection component
every manufactured, we can also supply performance injectors in the
Dodge Cummins and Ford Powerstroke applications. These injectors will
increase horsepower upwards of 80 RWHP.
