It's a tall statement,
but true.
The
fact of the matter is that Hooker has been in the business of making the best
headers since the 1960s. From the heyday of the factory Super Stock teams
such as Sox and Martin, Bob Glidden, Arnie Beswick, Dave Strickler, Arlen
Vanke, Grumpy Jenkins, and a host of other names that literally were household
names back then, Hooker was there.
Hooker honed its
teeth on the first of the factory big block muscle cars, making premium quality
headers for the street, strip and oval track. From this auspicious beginning,
Hooker branched its product line out to include headers and exhaust systems
to include many "non-race" applications such as RVs, tow vehicles,
off-road vehicles and many daily-drivers.
Today, four decades
later, Hooker is still there, bigger and stronger than ever, and a member
of the Holley family of fine performance products. Noted racers such as Al
Hoffman, Mark Pawuk, Anthony Bertozzi and Woodrow Josie have taken up the
Hooker banner and continue to add significant racing victories and laurels
to the Hooker mystique. Hooker isn't referred to as "the winningest header
in history" for nothing!
Hooker launches
into the 21st Century with a brand new, 350,000 square foot manufacturing,
warehouse and distribution complex, located in Aberdeen, MS. Factor in the
state-of-the-art engineering and R&D facility, in Bowling Green, KY, and
it's readily apparent that Hooker has solidified its position as the "World's
Best Header!" manufacturer. The year 2001 will continue to see an ever-increasing
commitment by Hooker to offer an extensive and high quality exhaust product
line.
You, our customer,
will be the ultimate benefactor of the Hooker commitment. Just as your past
support for Hooker products was earned by their features, quality and performance,
so will your current and future support of Hooker products be based. To this
