Premium Replacement sets are not intended for performance or competition use.
HDX Performance Clutch Sets
HDX Clutch sets are the performance upgrade for your daily driver/hot rod. Pressure plates feature increased clamp loads and our 300 Series organic clutch disc. 300 series consists of steel backed organic facing material that greatly increases rotational strength, and an eight spring center hub for excellent shock absorption. Use HDX sets for cars with bolt on modifications and mild power enhancements for street or strip.
Powergrip Performace Clutch Sets
As engine power and torque levels increase, Powergrip Clutch sets meet the challenge. Powergrip utilizes a unique blend of 900 and 300 series friction materials and increased clamp loads to give you the holding power needed for aggressive street driving, occasional drag strip use, and the all around performance you expect from your clutch system. Some chatter will occur on takeoff. Use Powergrip for modified street/strip cars.

Powergrip HD sets are the ultimate for extreme street/strip performance. Using our proprietary 900 series friction material in conjunction with increased clamp load pressure plates, you get maximum holding power for track or street, with only minimal reduction in drivability. This is the set for big power street cars! Some chatter will occur on takeoff. Use only with RAM billet steel or factory nodular iron (explosion resistant) flywheels.
VDS Clutch Systems
VDS is the ultimate diaphragm clutch system. VDS allows the user to tailor static pressures to the specific pressure requirements as well as maintain the clutch pressure over time. In addition, all VDS units are completely rebuildable in the field. Complete packages consist of pressure plate, clutch disc, flywheel, and mounting hardware.
Street Dual Clutch Systems
RAM clutches proudly introduces our dual disc clutch system for late and early model muscle cars. The assembly consists of an aluminum flywheel, easy pedal effort diaphragm pressure plate, 300 series friction material, and a special floater plate and retainer system that virtually eliminates floater plate rattle. Holding capacity for this clutch is in excess of 1000 hp, yet the engagement is silky smooth thanks to the 300 series friction material. Now you do not have to deal with on/off switch clutches for your high horsepower street machine! The system works with the factory release mechanisms.
True Balance Billet Flywheels
All billet flywheels are NOT created equal! Every RAM True Balance flywheel is turned, drilled, and tapped on our own CNC equipment from SFI certified materials. Aluminum flywheels get a replaceable carbon steel friction insert. Flywheels are then precision ground parallel to the crank flange and to the proper RMS finish for optimum mating of the friction disc. Shrink fit ring gears are replaceable; one piece flywheels require replacing the entire flywheel! Finally the flywheel is digitally balanced to the proper factory specification. When you purchase a RAM True Billet flywheel, you can buy it, bolt it in, and go!
