Dodge/Cummins power is airflow improvement. Banks Stinger begins with
a lifetime Banks RamAir filter that cuts restrictions, so more
ram-air reaches the turbo (includes filter service kit). Banks high
boost wastegate actuator keeps the valve seated to higher pressures,
for more mid-range torque and top-end power. Banks OttoMind fuel
calibration plate matches fuel delivery to higher airflow, so there's
no over-temping or wasted fuel - just power and durability. Banks resonance-tuned
Dynaflow muffler out-flows stock and so-called "performance"
mufflers. Banks constant diameter 3 1/2 inch Monster tailpipe
has an airflow area 1-1/2 times greater than the restrictive factory
pipe. Includes a polished stainless 4-inch tailpipe tip. Banks DynaFact
pyrometer and boost gauge assembly targets the boost for best mileage
or most power, monitors EGT and important functions.

Stinger-Plus adds Banks Quick-Turbo turbine housing to the Stinger
system. The larger-than-stock Quick-Turbo allows the turbine to
run more efficiently, increases spin-up at lower rpm and raises peak
boost. With twice the diaphragm area of the stock wastegate, the Quick-Turbo's
BigHead wastegate actuator keeps the valve seated longer, so
peak boost is achieved sooner. The BigHead marches strongly to peak
boost, producing more mid-range torque. At any boost level, backpressure
is lower. Stinger-Plus delivers near-instant throttle response, a broader
power range and greater available torque.

For unmatched power, PowerPack adds Banks TwinRam intake manifold
to the Stinger-Plus package. The stock manifold's offset inlet
limits airflow through three of Cummins diagonally-orientated intake
ports. The disproportionate air-fuel ratios in each cylinder cause differences
in combustion chamber temperatures and uneven power production. Banks
TwinRam doubles the inlet area to increase and balance air distribution
to all six cylinders. TwinRam nearly doubles peak boost, evens and cools
cylinder temperatures and smoothes the drive throughout the rpm range.
With intake losses drastically slashed, Banks reshapes the fuel curve,
resulting in more than twice the power and a massive torque rise. Clean-air
bonus: particulate emissions are reduced 71%!
